I was born in Kazakhstan but grew up on the small picturesque island of Northern Cyprus in the Mediterranean Sea. I hold a B.A in Plastic Arts. 

 

After graduating from university in 2018, I have had various jobs like graphic design, teaching, and even working at a law firm, but have always made time for my true passion of illustrating and telling stories. Between my day jobs, I illustrated three picture books for self-published authors (Tan ve Cabani, Tan ve Cabani Okulda, Ali’nin Sihirli Kalemi), and drawn short, auto-bio and fiction comics.

 

I’m inspired by folklore, mythology, nature and everyday life. In my free time I like to go on long walks by the seaside, cuddle with my cats, read, play video games or learn new skills. My newest hobby is bird-watching. I like to experiment with style and materials to keep my work fresh and exciting.
